This program is applicable for Cardmembers of The Platinum Card issued by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) in Hong Kong (“Eligible Card”, such holder, "Eligible Cardmember"). American Express® Peninsula Platinum Card is not applicable for this Program. For the avoidance of doubt, accumulation of spending for the Membership Rewards Program in each Eligible Cardmembers’ account (“Eligible Card Account”) shall also include the spending of Supplementary Cards issued under that Eligible Card Account. If an Eligible Cardmember wishes to participate in the Accelerator Program, he/she must successfully enroll with his/her Eligible Card in the Accelerator Program via the designated link during the Promotion Period, and then complete Eligible Transaction(s) with the enrolled Eligible Card during the Promotion Period. Each Eligible Cardmember can enroll once only. During the Promotion Period, one-time enrollment to the Accelerator Program is required for the Eligible Card. The designated enrollment link had opened on August 20, 2025. Eligible Cardmembers who have successfully enrolled in the First Calendar Quarter do not need to re-enroll for the Second Calendar Quarter.
Offer: Extra Five (5) Membership Rewards points on Foreign Currencies Spend: During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardmembers who spend in foreign currencies with the enrolled Eligible Card, can earn additional five (5) Membership Rewards points for every HK$1 equivalent spent in foreign currencies, up to the first HK$15,000 billed to enrolled Eligible Card Account per calendar quarter (i.e. August 20 – September 30, 2025 or October 1 – December 31, 2025). From August 20, 2025 to December 31, 2025, after successfully completing the enrollment for the Accelerator Program, Cardmembers can get up to 9 Membership Rewards points for (i) every HK$1 equivalent spent in the first HK$15,000 (or equivalent) in foreign currencies billed to the Enrolled Eligible Card. Conversion rate accurate as of December 2024 and on the basis of 1 mile can be redeemed by 18 Membership Rewards Points. Turbo Program: Eligible Cardmembers can earn additional one (1) Membership Rewards point for every eligible HK$1 equivalent billed to the Eligible Card Account in Hong Kong Dollars or foreign currencies, applicable to the first eligible HK$160,000 billed per Enrollment Year.
