Select and reallocate your credit limits between Cards

Manage your credit limits anytime you want

When you log in to My Card Account, you can now conveniently transfer your credit limit from one American Express® Credit Card to another Amex Credit Card.

Here’s how: click “Card Management” in your online account, then select “Transfer credit limit from another Card”. Should you choose to do so, your new credit limit will be effective immediately.

Transfer your credit limit in three seamless steps

Step 1:

Select the Card Account you want to reallocate your limit from and the Card Account you would like to transfer it to, then enter the amount you would like to reallocate

Step 2:

Review your new limits, then click ‘Submit’

Step 3:

Receive a confirmation
