Manage your credit limit

When you log in to your Account online, you can now transfer your available credit limit between two eligible American Express® Cards.

Should you choose to do so, your new credit limit will be effective after 15 minutes.

Transfer your credit limit in four steps

Step 1:

Select the Card Account you want to reallocate your available credit limit from and the Card Account you would like to transfer it to, then enter the amount you would like to reallocate

Step 3:

Review your transfer request details and submit

Step 4:

A confirmation and your new credit limit will be available in 15 minutes
